I made three using jquery slider plugin.
The plugins can be configured in the admin interface.
You can upload images and set the dimensions, colors and positions.
Each can be used, but it is not the final version.

I thought that would be good if the new downloads appears as new forum posts. I modified the latest downloads menu and news.php file. YOU can choose where appear the menu, on the top or bottom of the page as newforumposts_main menu. You can download from HERE
